Bigger, better, fiercer......Tigers' new teams, new posts and new kit

The Tigers are relaunching on Sunday October 7th 2007.  For the first time  we will have rugby posts which will be erected by the parks department in the summer holidays.  Even more exciting is the birth of two new teams - Under 15 girls and Under 16 boys.  To mark this great event we are going to have a completely new kit design.  Hence October 7th will be a monumental day.  Please come and get involved.

Clubhouse development at last !

The Tigers have been successful in our bid to obtain funding from the 'Cleaner, Greener, Safer' programme.

There were 54 bids for money in Walworth and thankfully our project was one of the few that shone through.

We will be receiving £40,000 towards refurbishing the clubhouse sometime in early 2007!

A big thank you to Paul Rayner (from the U10s) who stood up infront of about 300 adults to say why we needed the money.  You can see Paul in the photo in the top right of this page - taken a few years ago.

Posts have arrived!

We have received a very generous amount of money from SAZ - Sports Action Zone Lambeth and Southwark for the rugby posts.  Thanks very much to Brian Dickens and Helen Clayton.

Now we can make Burgess Park a centre for inner city rugby!
