Code Of Conduct for Players
As a member of Southwark Tigers Rugby Club you are expected to abide by the following club rules:
- All players must learn and play within the rules of rugby.
- Players should keep to the agreed meeting times of training or competitions. They should inform their coach if they are going to be late or absent.
- All players must respect coaches and referees and must never argue with their decisions.
- All players must respect opposing teams, their coaches and supporters.
- Players must wear suitable kit. Tiger shirt/t-shirt or sweatshirt, black shorts and rugby/football boots if possible. Full Tiger kit including gum shields must be worn for matches.
- While training or playing in matches with Southwark Tigers Rugby Club, players must not swear or use any other form of abusive language or behaviour.
- Players are not permitted to smoke, consume alcohol or drugs of any kind in or around the clubhouse or whilst representing the club in matches or competitions.
- Southwark Tigers Rugby Club is committed to keeping all of its members safe, and ready to enjoy the sport of rugby. We believe that it is important that everyone should show respect and understanding for the safety and well being of others.
